Join us this Sunday as we continue our new sermon series- exploring together the condition and understanding of our hearts, desires and affections according to scripture. Not a journey of behavior modification. A journey of rightly ordered affection, and reordering of our resources to direct the affection to our Father. . We will look at some of the main driving forces behind our actions and lives. Idols demand love, trust and obedience and over time we become enslaved to them, slowly becoming like them. Unable to find a power by which to live abundantly. When we give our trust, love and obedience to God, we are formed into the image of Christ and his power is at work in our lives. We consider: What do I trust in?
What do I seek for happiness right now?
What do I spend your resources - time, skills/ strengths/ gifts, money on?
What are my anxieties right now?
What occupies my attention most of the time?

Beautiful moment on Sunday, honoring all Mothers. Celebrating, encouraging & praying for anyone that has been a parent to someone who needed it. . Thoughts of A mother - by King Solomon:  She dresses herself with strength  and makes her arms strong.  She opens her hand to the poor  and reaches out her hands to the needy.  Strength and dignity are her clothing,  and she laughs at the time to come.  She opens her mouth with wisdom,  and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.  She looks well to the ways of her household  and does not eat the bread of idleness.  Her children rise up and call her blessed: “Many women have done excellently,  but you surpass them all.” Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,  but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
