The Christmas Offering is an annual tradition at Trinity Grace Church — our yearly opportunity to be generous beyond regular giving, with a focus on meeting needs in our church community, our city, and across the world. This year we are giving towards three main areas:
1. JUSTICE: Our commitment to The Gospel Justice Initiative, seeks to address the systems and circumstances that keep people at the margins of culture and society.
2. MERCY: The Deacons’ Fund provides support for people in our church community who are going through a particularly difficult time, offering not only crisis care, but the type of holistic support.
3. MISSION: Our hope is to use part of Christmas Offering to support mission to love, serve, and invest into activities that invite people into the Kingdom. (This would include investing in The Alpha Course & supporting or creating opportunity for mission trips.)

Advent — a season in the liturgical calendar. We observe seasons like Advent as a church because they help immerse us in the story of Jesus, and they reorient our hearts to worship.
The word “Advent” is from the Latin “Adventus”, which means “coming.” Though Advent is about commemorating the birth of Christ and experiencing his presence here and now in the Eucharist, it’s also about anticipating his return.
